COMMERCIAL & RESIDENTIAL ROOFING & WATERPROOFING
We understand how important your home or business is to you and the stress involved with planning construction projects, so we want to make your buying process as clear and pleasant as possible.
Once you’ve contacted us by email, phone, or Free Estimate Request Form, we’ll set up a consultation at your property at a time that works for you. We pride ourselves in being punctual so we won’t give you a vague time when we “might show up”. We will set a time and stick to it. If we’re early or if something comes up that prevents us from being on time, we’ll call in advance to let you know.
Your estimator will arrive at the scheduled time and location in a clean, professional vehicle with a business card in hand. Be ready to let us know what sort of help you’re looking for, where your leaks are, and any general concerns you might have about your roof.
Next, we’ll assess the building, which includes measuring the property, snapping photos, and taking notes. We’ll also provide free samples of products for you to look at during this process.
Before leaving, your estimator will explain your options and ways we can exceed your expectations. Be certain to ask for a proposal in writing. All estimates will be submitted via email, fax, or mail.
During the Decision Process, we’ll be available for any questions you might have. If something does pop up that you need an answer for, please call the estimator you originally met with.
We recommend you call any prospective contractor and get some references. Always compare apples to apples when deciding between estimates. Our customers have had great experiences with us because they shopped around and could clearly see the value of our services before they decided to go with us.
Our Decision Process comes with a no pressure policy, meaning we won’t be bugging you during your considerations. If you do decide to work with us, we’re thrilled by the opportunity!
Once you’ve selected us as your contractor, we’ll need a copy of your signed agreement to get the project started. Our scheduling department will then be calling you with a tentative start date and will keep you updated if anything changes (i.e. if adverse weather conditions arise).
We will be calling to remind you of your project start date and to schedule a pre-work meeting. This meeting is where the customer, original estimator, and the project foreman go over contract details to ensure that all areas of concern are addressed. This meeting is optional, so if you opt to not participate, that’s fine.
Communication is paramount for a project to run smoothly, so expect our crew members to keep you informed throughout the work. You’ll find our entire team to be inviting, friendly, hard working, and available to answer any questions you might have along the way.
If the work takes longer than expected to complete, you’ll be updated in person or over the phone before our crew leaves for the day. We believe our customers should always be kept in the loop.
Once the work is complete, your project foreman will do a 20 Point Inspection of your property to ensure the work meets our standard. This inspection checks all possible items in your project to be certain that all areas have been completed with quality and accuracy.
We have a simple yet important motto at Cool Roof Hawaii – “Leave the project site cleaner than when you arrived”. Expect a cleaner property when our crew is through.
After your 20 Point Inspection is complete, the foreman will hand along the checklist to CRH’s owner, Kevin McCallum, to do his own inspection of your property. He will schedule a time to personally review your foreman approved project as an additional layer of quality control.
Once approved a invoice will be either mailed, hand delivered or email to the customer.
Our goal is to satisfy our customers every step of the way!
The most important thing in Roofing and Waterproofing is installing the Product Right.
